Kate Hudson is apartment- shopping in New York with an eye to living there part-time with her rekindled flame Owen Wilson, according to a pal.

"She is ready to nest and has even been talking about having more little ones," a friend of the actress tells me.

The pal says she credits getting back together with Wilson for ending a wild period in her life, during which she was linked with Justin Timberlake and Dax Shepard.

"She is relieved to be more settled again," says the friend. "She really felt as if she were testing her limits going out while she and Owen were separated."

No mention above as to whether Owen is ready.
