Nick Searcy Biography
In the summer of 1996, Searcy produced, directed and acted in his first independent feature, Paradise Falls. Searcy's other film credits include the blockbusters Nell, with Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson, and The Fugitive with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. He had a leading role in Universal's Fried Green Tomatoes which starred Jessica Tandy and Kathy Bates. He can also be seen in The War with Kevin Costner and Elijah Wood; The Prince of Tides with Barbra Streisand and Paramount's Days of Thunder with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Searcy has appeared in several television series. He had a recurring role on ABC's Thunder Alley was a series regular on CBS' American Gothic and guest starred on Murder One and 0115285 with Don Johnson. He has also starred in several movies-of-the-week, including In the Best of Families: Marriage, Pride & Madness, Stolen Innocence and _Jeu de l'oie, Le (1980) (TV)_ all for CBS. Searcy is a series regular on HBO's From the Earth to the Moon. Searcy's theatre credits include several Off-Broadway plays and regional/stock productions of "Guys and Dolls", "Cabaret" and "Jesus Christ Superstar."
