Mariah Carey and rapper/actor Nick Cannon stepped out together for the first time as husband and wife when they hit the Time 100 party in New York City on Thursday night.


Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon made their first public appearance since tying the knot, turning up Thursday night in New York. The couple attended Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World" gala.

Carey, wearing a silver minidress, sang at the party which was held at New York City's Lincoln Center. Afterwards, according to People.com, she slipped into a strapless black dress accessorized with her 17-carat wedding ring and then headed to hotspot The Waverly Inn. Her new tattoo, which reads "Mrs. Cannon" and is located on the small of her back, was never seen.
