Tonight's special guests on American Idol were: Neil Diamond and Natasha Bedingfield.  Natasha's music isn't the type I'd listen to as it kind of reminded me of the Spice Girls, but at least she sings a little better than them.  Neil Diamond performed his new song "Pretty Amazing Grace" and he sounded fantastic.  He still has such a great voice.

The bottom two Idol wannabes were:

Syesha Mercado - wasn't shocked to see her in the bottom two as her performances weren't that great.Brooke White - pleasantly surprised she was in the bottom two as she really sucked yesterday and was so annoying when receiving criticism.

So, the contestant to get the boot was...

YAY! I was so happy that Vote for the Worst wasn't strong enough to keep her in the competition.  I don't know if I could've taken listening to her talking on that show anymore.  Brooke knew it was her night to go though because she was already crying before Ryan Seacrest told her.
