Raised in New Hampshire. Appeared as a guest on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" (1999) and said he was just married. [17 May 2001] His father, Tony, is a retired defense-industry executive. His mother, Marianne, is a career counselor. His wife, Lisa gave birth to their second child, a boy, Seamus. [December 2004] Is a fan of the Boston Red Sox baseball team. Has thrown out a few opening pitches at Fenway Park. Gave the commencement speech to the University of New Hampshire Class of 2006.
