Due to his respiratory problems, he did not appear in the last few episodes of "2gether".
Had to film some episodes of "2gether" with an oxygen tank due to lung problems.
Co-authored a book with his grandmother and created a cancer research foundation.
His first diagnosis of Hodgkin's disease was in July 1994 at 9 1/2. He required six months of chemotherapy which put it into remission.
Composed a 5 song album called "Make A Difference". The songs were written by Michael during his battle with cancer. The songs that are on the album are 1. Make A Difference 2. Don't Wanna Say Goodbye 3. Lock The Door 4. Never Give Up 5. When You Are Away.
