David Carradine's Family Calls For Fbi Investigation
Two individuals close to the Carradine family told Larry King on Friday night that the family has sought the FBI's help in investigating the late actor's death in Bangkok, Thailand, and there are plans for a second autopsy. Read on for all the new details. Mark Geragos, an attorney for David's actor brother Keith Carradine, told King that the Carradine family met with the FBI on Friday, in hopes that the agency can compel Thai officials to launch an investigation in Bangkok soon. The Carradines want the FBI to be involved "at least in an assisting role, so that they can kind of oversee what's going on," Geragos said. He added that the FBI has to go through a series of legal channels and hurdles to get involved, but they "can be invited over there immediately. And I call on the people in Bangkok to invite them in." Geragos said that Carradine's body is being brought back to the U.S. this weekend for a second autopsy, which he said could help shed light on whether foul play was involved in the "Kung Fu" star's death. "I think there had to be foul play," Carradine's manager Chuck Binder added. "I mean my gut instinct is something definitely happened there." When another King panel member mentioned that Carradine was reportedly interested in secret societies, Geragos said this reported interest was "connected to martial arts and [Carradine's] interest in martial arts. And so there is a suspicion that if there was some foul play, that that may be the first area where [investigators] should look." Geragos and Binder both reiterated that the Carradine family doesn't believe that the 72-year-old was suicidal. Geragos said Carradine had spoken with his brother Keith within the last two weeks and seemed "not at all" depressed and was "very excited" at the prospect of returning home from shooting a movie in Thailand. On Saturday, the police officer heading the death investigation told the Associated Press that hotel surveillance footage apparently showed that nobody came into Carradine's room before he passed away. A police source told the AP that Carradine was found on Thursday hanged in his hotel room closet with a rope tied to his neck and genitals.[Read full story on The Insider]

Lionel & Nicole Richie Appear On 'larry King'
Lionel Richie and his daughter Nicole appeared together on "Larry King Live" on Thursday for their first TV interview in six years, and Nicole's baby girl Harlow joined them on stage. The father daughter pair discussed everything from past family challenges, to current family success. "We're at a wonderful [place in] life," Lionel told Larry. But the pair agreed that things weren't always so rosy. Lionel reminisced to Larry about when Nicole went to rehab several years ago, and he and wife Brenda joined her there: "When she checked into rehab, her mother and I checked into rehab with her." The parents spent the first week or so at the rehabilitation facility with their daughter. Lionel said he had to employ tough love with his beloved daughter, and he told Larry, "Tough love is very hard when you're in love." For her part, Nicole told Larry about rehab: "I really don't think about it anymore. Everyone has made mistakes, like I said, and it's really about moving forward and dealing with my mistakes. That's where I'm at." Nicole also said that while she has no immediate plans to marry boyfriend Joel Madden, who is Harlow's father and with whom she is expecting a second baby, she said they will marry "when the time is right." Nicole told Larry that she and Joel are putting their focus on their family right now. At the end of the interview, little Harlow joined her mom and grandpa onstage. Nicole told Larry that she and Joel are planning to be surprised when it comes to finding out the sex of their unborn baby, so there is no word on whether their upcoming bundle of joy will be a brother or a sister for Harlow.[Read full story on The Insider]

Dane Cook Opens Up About 'terrible Betrayal'
Dane Cook was a guest on "Larry King Live" Thursday night and the comedian spoke candidly about the legal situation involving his half brother and former manager Darryl McCauley. McCauley was arrested in December after being accused of embezzling millions of dollars from Cook while he served as his manager. "It's a terrible betrayal," Cook tells Larry King. "But hopefully justice will be served and I can move on with my life." According to the Massachusetts attorney general's office, McCauley is accused of transferring Cook's money into his own bank account. "I worked with my only half brother for several years," Cook says. "Woke up one day and a lot of stuff was missing. There is a good chunk of money that is certainly not accounted for. That's all I can say about it at this point.' McCauley plead not guilty to the charges against him and is currently in jail awaiting his trial.[Read full story on The Insider]

Levi Johnston May Go To Court For Custody
Levi Johnston, the father of Sarah Palin's grandson, spoke out on "Larry King Live" on Wednesday about his chilly relationship with the Palins. The young man, who says he's not being allowed to see his son or take his son anywhere, says he may have to go to court in order to retain his shared custody rights under Alaskan law. He told Larry that things started to change when his ex-fiancee Bristol Palin became pregnant with their infant son Tripp, and her mother subsequently decided to run for Vice President on John McCain's ticket. "Ever since that campaign she's changed a lot," he told Larry. "That wasn't the Bristol I knew before she got pregnant. … she's totally different now." The teenage dad's mother told Larry that things really took a turn for the worse last fall. "Things started changing different, I'd say I noticed in November," Sherry Johnston said. "Things started to chill down, not getting as friendly." For her part, Levi's sister, Mercede, told Larry that she had issues with Bristol and that Bristol had forbade Levi from speaking to her while they were together. Mercede said, "The main thing I had a problem with was, in the summer when they were dating that he wasn't allowed to talk to me." Despite the recent acrimony between the families, the Johnstons all stressed that they want baby Tripp to be a part of their lives. Levi said of being present at his son's birth: "It was cool. … I wasn't expecting to have a kid this early. I thought I would always be grossed out but it was cool." When asked about child support, Levi told Larry that he wasn't paying child support until they went to court, but added, "I've got everything a boy needs -- diapers, clothes -- back home." He also stressed: "I didn't ask to be thrown into this. I'm not looking for fame, just trying to get my story out there." The Palin family released a statement to ET on Wednesday night that reads: "Bristol is focused on going to college, raising Tripp, and advocating abstinence." Larry also asked Sherry about her arrest last December on a drug charge. She responded: "I can't go there right now. When I have my day in court then I would love to be able to set the record straight. There's a lot of misconceptions out there."[Read full story on The Insider]
