Diminutive Star Wars actor Kenny Baker is feeling "a lot better" after he was admitted to the hospital with chest problems, reports his son. The three-foot, eight-inch star - who has appeared as lovable droid R2-D2 in all six films in the franchise - fell ill after vacationing in the U.S. and checked into the hospital on Wednesday in Wythenshawe, Manchester, England.

Actor Kenny Baker, who played R2-D2 in the "Star Wars" movies, has been hospitalized with an unknown illness. The actor appeared as the droid in all six "Star Wars" films.The 3 foot 8 inch star was admitted to the hospital in the U.K. on Wednesday after becoming ill while on a trip to the United States. A relative told the British newspaper The Sun that Baker was conscious and talking and they hoped he would be fine.
