According to Ken himself, he lived in cars, and was abandoned as a child. This was also included in his character in the WWF.

Lost to Royce Gracie in UFC 1. On April 7, 1995, at UFC 5: Return Of The Beast, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Shamrock got his rematch with Gracie in the first ever super fight. The bout lasted over 35 minutes and was declared a draw. Most agree if there had been judges, Shamrock would have been declared the winner.

Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

On November 21, 2003, the UFC celebrated its ten year anniversary at UFC 45: Revolution. Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock were chosen to be the charter members of the UFC Hall of Fame.

Broke his neck while wrestling in his senior year of high school. Had surgery, which removed a bone chip from his hip and fused it into his neck. The doctor told Ken that he'd never be able to play sports again. Ken proved him wrong.

Started his Mixed-Martial Arts career on September 21, 1993 by choking out the legendary Japanese champion Masakatsu Funaki.

Defeated MMA legends Masakatsu Funaki, Yoshiki Takahashi, Bas Rutten, Maurice Smith, and Dan Severn.

Lost to World Champions Tito Ortiz, Don Frye, Dan Severn, Masakatsu Funaki, and Royce Gracie.

His younger brother Frank Juarez (he later changed his name to Shamrock) is also a World Champion having gotten his start training under Ken at the Lion's Den.

Shamrock ended the 230 match winning streak of Martial Art's Champion Patrick Smith by submission at UFC I.

Recently shown on the Speed Channel show "Payback" presenting his adopted father a custom designed Caddalac.
