Father of Enrique Iglesias, USA-based Spanish pop singer. Used to be a goalkeeper for the Real Madrid soccer team Father of Chabeli Iglesias, Spanish singer-actress. Welcomed twin girls Victoria (6lbs. 10oz.) & Cristina (6lbs. 3oz.). [1 May 2001] Finished his law degree at Madrid, Spain's Complutense University. He promised his now 84-year-old father that he would eventually graduate after dropping out 35 years ago to pursue his music career. [June 2001] 4 children with Miranda Rijnsburger: Miguel Alejandro (b. 1997), Rodrigo (b. 1999), Victoria and Cristina (twins, b. 2001). Was one of the judges in the Miss Universe pageant of 1979. Father of Julio Iglesias Jr.. His father is of Spanish and Arabian descent and his mother is of Spanish descent.
