Fergie's family is in full force in backing the singer and her Black Eyed Peas co-member will.i.am against his controversial clash with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

Hilton first claimed will.i.am punched him on early Monday morning after the hip-hop artist confronted him about "disrespecting" their group and member Fergie. He later admitted in a video blog that it was tour manager Polo Molina who attacked him.
"The Insider" spoke to Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel Monday night in Los Angeles, and the actor opened up about the confrontation on Sunday night between Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. "The Insider" spoke to Duhamel Monday night at the 'Transfomers: Revenge of The Fallen' premiere in Los Angeles. "When you get rich saying hateful things sometimes you ask for it," Duhamel says."It's an unfortunate incident and I hope it goes away." Perez Hilton is accusing Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio "Polo" Molina of punching him in the face at an after party for the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto after a verbal altercation between Hilton and will.i.am. Will.i.am responded to the accusations with a video blog and explained that he approached the celebrity blogger to defend Fergie, his friend and band mate, who spoke to Hilton about unfavorable blog reports on his Web site. The Black Eyed Peas performer says gaining 17 pounds for 'Nine' allowed her to order lots of foods that were "fried and full of fat. We were eating our brains out,” Fergie tells Allure magazine of her and costar Penelope Cruz's weight gain for the movie. Fergie says getting back to her svelte figure was a gradual process that required the help of Duhamel's trainer. “I didn’t want to be told what to do, and I wasn’t mentally ready to crack the whip.” Fergie's two-hour training sessions included routines with weight lifting, outdoor hikes and jumping rope. In addition to her revived Fergalicious figure, she's also a newlywed that says nothing has changed in the bedroom since the wedding. Fergie tells Allure she incorporates her collection of costumes into her love life with her sexy spouse. “I’ve got a big chest of fun little numbers, ones that I would never wear in public,” she tells the publication. Fergie has revealed she is bisexual. The Black Eyed Peas beauty, who is married to "Transformers" actor Josh Duhamel, admits she has enjoyed several lesbian trysts - but she could never fully commit to a woman.

She is quoted by Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Put it this way, I've experimented definitely, but I have never had a steady girlfriend."

Fergie wants a baby. The 33-year-old singer - who married "Transformers" actor Josh Duhamel in Malibu in January - is planning to get pregnant as soon as the Black Eyed Peas' summer tour is over.
