AP - Police said Wednesday they have video of a bar brawl in which members of a crew filming an Oliver Stone movie — including actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright — were arrested.
As "The Insider" previously reported Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, stars of Oliver Stone's forthcoming President Bush biopic 'W.', were arrested Saturday morning in Shreveport, LA. The actors and three other crew members were busted outside Stray Cats bar when they allegedly interfered with the arrest of a fellow 'W' staffer, who was facing cuffs for public intoxication and resisting detainment.   According to The Shreveport Times police will not confirm whether or not a Taser or pepper spray was used on the actor and his fellow co-workers during the disturbance at the Stray Cat bar, but they have reviewed audio recordings from microphones worn by officers and videos obtained from dash cams. An arraignment date of Dec. 2 has been set, reports the Times. They or their representatives will have to plead their cases before Shreveport City Court Judge Harvetta Colvin. Brolin and Wright both posted a bond of $334.

Josh Brolin was arrested early Saturday morning at a bar in Shreveport, Louisiana. Josh, who is playing the part of George Bush in Oliver Stone's film 'W', along with his W co-star Jeffrey Wright and some crew members, were apparently at the Stray Cat bar in the wee hours when a scuffle occurred and Josh messed with some of the 10 cops who arrived to restore order.
SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, along with members of a crew filming an Oliver Stone movie, were arrested during a bar fight Saturday morning, police said.


"The Insider" confirms that Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, stars of Oliver Stone's forthcoming President Bush biopic 'W.', were arrested Saturday morning in Shreveport, LA. The actors and three other crew members were busted outside Stray Cats bar when they allegedly interfered with the arrest of a fellow 'W' staffer, who was facing cuffs for public intoxication and resisting detainment.   The trouble began when crew member Eric Felland was allegedly asked to leave the bar and refused. An officer tried to physically remove him, but Brolin, Wright and their 'W' colleagues allegedly attempted to pull Felland away from the authorities. Brolin was arrested for interfering with the police and charged with a misdemeanor. He and his fellow crew-mates were released on bond, but they're expected back in court at a later date. "The Insider" contacted the 'No Country for Old Men' star's rep for a statement and is waiting to hear back. In 'W.,' Brolin steps into the shoes of our commander in chief, while Wright plays Colin Powell.
