John and wife Kelly Preston flew 22 doctors plus medics along with several tons of supplies to earthquake-stricken Haiti with the help of Qantas, and he said, "The important part of this is that the supplies that we brought were able to stay with those doctors. … They've handled hundreds of people already." In 'From Paris with Love,' in theaters February 5, John sports a bold bald look and a dastardly goatee as Charlie Wax, a loose-cannon CIA agent who takes low-level operative James Reese (Meyers) under his wing, giving him more action and bullet-dodging than he ever imagined possible as they attempt to thwart a terrorist attack. When James discovers he's a crime ring target, he realizes that Wax may be his only hope for making it through the next 48 hours alive. John said he fashioned his look after some of the real-life characters featured in Soldier of Fortune magazine, and wife Kelly gushed, "I love it. It's very sexy. He could do it any time he wants as far as I'm concerned." Jonathan performs some wild action on camera, and he related some stunt advice Tom Cruise gave him when they co-starred on 'Mission: Impossible III': "He said, 'Try to do your own stunts, but do what's safe.'"
