Father of actor Tyler Posey
Played the role of Danny Tanner in the unaired pilot episode of Full House, but was replaced by Bob Saget when the series finally went to air.
John is from Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 1981. With a partner, he formed the comedy group COMEDIA in Atlanta, Georgia in 1985 and was brought to Los Angeles by representatives of ABC in 1987. He is also a screenwriter and playwright.
