Yesterday it was reported that Mandy Moore and John Mayer hooked up. Well, Us Magazine reports that John Mayer and Cameron Diaz were seen together in NYC:

"They went out to several places...It was the two of them, getting to know each other, out on the town. This was technically not their first time hanging out...they've hung out together with friends before. But this was the first time together like this. It's new and developing...but they really like each other and it went well,"

All I can think of is poor Mandy Moore if she's even interested in Mayer, she has to worry about Cameron now. Nothing works out for her lately, her last few movies flopped, her CD is not doing well and probably only one viewer watched her reality show.
