How can someone say this? Who knows why he was with Jessica Simpson and really who cares. if it made him happy then good on him or if she just passed the time that is fine to. Of course we all want him to date who WE think is his perfect match as to what we have gotten out of his music, but the thing is it is just music. It is something that lives on for a very long time (with any luck) that has come from just a snapshot in time. You can say something yet still fail to live up it. So for all we know the man might be the biggest pig on the planet. But he does make good music.

As for his blog message; the man has a strange sense of humor, which obvious reasons some do not understand. To get a glimpse of what he is saying you must read it in its entirety. Both what is in it and what is going on around it. There was almost a month between his posts and he was very busy. it is a one sided conversation between him and the one reading it who I imagine is a little mad that he has not made time for us.  Lay off. He knows he owes us for what he has and fully embraces it.  Leave the MAN alone. We have him as an artist and that is more than we get from others. I mean we are talking about a man that dressed in a bear suit then trash talked himself outside one of his own concerts. He doesn’t take himself seriously so why should we assume that he should? To me that would just make it a boring man who can play the guitar.
