Filed under: Celebrity Divorce Actor Joel Moore -- who played scientist Norm Spellman in "Avatar" -- has filed for divorce, TMZ has learned.
Moore -- also famous for his robot scene in "Grandma's Boy" -- filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court, citing the boilerplate "irreconcilable differences."
Moore and his wife -- Kineret Karen Ben Yishay Moore (Jewish?) -- married on New Year's Day in 2009 and separated this June. They have no children.
