Jay Mohr Biography
Jay Mohr, born in Verona, New Jersey, USA, wanted to be a comedian all of his life. He performed stand-up comedy at colleges, comedy clubs, and such television forums as
An Evening at the Improv and
Two Drink Minimum. He first gained national attention while a castmember on
SNL 25, and became known for his impersonations of such people as
Sean Penn and
Christopher Walken.
Trivia

He is a frequent guest on the New York City drive-time radio show "Opie & Anthony," where he adds his own commentary on the bizarre in-studio happenings and, of course, throws in the occasional Christopher Walken impersonation.

Has a tattoo on the inside of his bicep that is dated and contains the word "will," in respect of his cousin Will, who was killed by a drunk driver.

Jay Mohr is a frequent contributor to "The Jungle," a radio show hosted by Jim Rome. Jay's razor-sharp takes and opinions have earned him the nickname Slam Man on the show. [August 2001]
