Jason Weaver has been a staple in Hollywood for over fifteen years with successful TV, film, and music projects. The multi-talented entertainer and teen heart throb was born July 18, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois.

Having worked with some of the industry's best on blockbuster films and critically acclaimed projects, Weaver's credits read like a who's who in entertainment. In 1990 he appeared in the Whoopi Goldberg film "The Long Walk Home." Later that year, he was cast in the television series "Brewster Place," executive produced by Oprah Winfrey. In 1992 he won the role of young Michael Jackson in the successful made for TV movie, "The Jacksons: An American Dream." He also appeared on two songs from the movie's soundtrack, produced by Motown. Opening the door for another life long dream - singing.

Weaver was signed to the legendary Motown record label and released his first of two albums - "Love Ambition" - that featured the talents of Rahsaan Patterson and Shanice Wilson. In 1994, he landed a major role as the singing voice of Simba in the box office hit, The Lion King. He was also featured on the soundtrack to the feature film, Kazaam starring Shaq O'Neal. Jason's musical career, however, reached new heights when he was tapped to sing the hook on the chart topping single, "One Call Away" by multi-platinum recording artist Chingy. His mother, legendary studio singer, Kitty Haywood, encouraged his singing and acting abilities.

In the mid 90s his career on the small screen continued with portrayals of the older handsome, teenage brother on popular sitcoms such as "Thea" and "Smart Guy." He also starred in the Disney television movie, "Summer Switch." He won two Young Artist Awards for his work in The Lion King and "The Jacksons: An American Dream."

In 2002, Jason enjoyed a successful segue into young adult roles with a convincing comedic role opposite Nick Cannon in the hit movie Drumline. He followed with a role in the 2004 off-beat drama, The LadyKillers, starring Tom Hanks. He recently landed a role in the upcoming "untitled" Chris Robinson movie, starring alongside multi-platinum recording artist, T.I. The comedy, set in a hip-hop roller rink, was filmed in in Atlanta, Georgia.
