Professional Wrestler. Has held the WWF Tag Team Championship. Former member of the Brood and the Ministry of Darkness. He originally wrestled under the full name of Christian Cage, taken from actors Nicolas Cage and Christian Slater. He dropped the surname upon entering the WWF. Has 2 brothers, one older and one younger. His wife Denise is from Germany. Defeated Edge on September 23, 2001, for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. He lost the title to Edge on October 21. Won the WWF Light-Heavyweight title in his debut match. Now a member of the Un-Americans along with Lance Storm and Test to distribute "constructive criticism" of America. [July 2002] Though not being his real-life brother, Adam "Edge" Copeland is his best friend and was his best friend growing up in Canada. The two were even college room-mates. Although actually about 6' 1" and somewhere between 221-230 weight range, Reso was billed by the WWF (now WWE) at very first to be 6' and 215 lbs. to be classified as a light heavyweight (now known as cruiserweight) with 220 lbs. as the limit. Then he was billed as 5' 10" to more fit the light heavyweight appearance. Now, since he plays more of a "big time" wrestler role on RAW, he is correctly (or at least with dramatic accuracy) billed as 6' 1" 225 lbs.. He met his wife Denise in England at a WWE Event, they dated for 2 years, got engaged and married on May 25, 2001. Met best friend and on screen brother Edge (Adam Copeland) in the 5th grade. Adam was one of the only people to become friends with Jay because he had a ninja star, and Adam really thought that was cool. They've been best friends ever since. During his days in the indy wrestling scene, he was a member of the wrestling faction known as THUG Life. Other members included Sexton Hardcastle (aka Edge), Joe E. Legends and Rhino Richards (aka Rhyno).
