This weekend Cameron Diaz and James Marsden star in the suspense thriller "The Box," but what not many people know is that the movie is based on an episode of "The Twilight Zone."


"The Box" — Cameron Diaz and James Marsden have a moral dilemma: Press a button on a mysterious container and they'll get $1 million, but someone they don't know will die.


Chills and thrills abound as "The Insider" joins Cameron Diaz, James Marsden and writer/director Richard Kelly on Wednesday night at the New York premiere of their new psychological thriller, 'The Box.' "They [had] really wonderful chemistry," Richard says of Cameron and James, "and it's rare to find two actors who just fit together like that, almost instantaneously." In 'The Box,' opening this Friday, the stars play a couple who receive a mysterious wooden contraption: One that can grant them instant riches with the push of button, but will take a complete stranger's life in exchange. So, would Cameron and James ever be tempted to use "the box" if it existed? "I have to say no, I wouldn't push the button. I know that for sure," Cameron says. "If I did, I wouldn't say it on camera I don't think," James jokes. "But no, probably not."
