Gerard, 37, snuck in to watch the audience’s reaction on Friday, 300’s opening night. He caught the 4:45PM showing. Did anyone notice him there??

Christina Ricci was just sharing about this on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the Friday before last. Christina said she would never watch her own film for fear of being caught and publicly humiliated.

Gerard has no shame and absolutely no fear. I love it!

And great news — 300 SLAUGHTERED the box office competition this weekend. Box Office Mojo estimates 300 ticket sales for Friday alone reached a potentially record-breaking $27.8 million.

According to Reuters, “That puts the Warner Bros. release on track for a $60 million-plus weekend, challenging the March record of $68 million set last year by “Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.”

I have followed Gerard Butler's career since before he was famous, before the '300' blockbuster and 'PS I love You hit. He always seemed so humble and appreciative of his fans. But lately, he acts like an asshole in most of the video clips I have seen, no different than most others. That is such a turnoff to me. These people seek careers that put them in the public eye and then bitch and gripe and complain when no one pays them any attention, then they get attention, get pissed off, and go off on the ones that keep them in the public eye. This to me is stupid. They could have chosen low profile careers. Hey this is what they wanted.

OMG I feel embarrassed for him. How lame. How insecure---or would that be like mondo majorly full of himself conceited!!!? Was he trying to boost the sales? How many tickets did he buy? Or did he just want to watch himself flex? Ugh! I think he should have just maybe asked the director for a personal copy of the movie and stayed home and "enjoyed himself"!! Get it?? Enjoyed himself?? How embarrassing!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with honey cakes going to see his own movie.. Shit he worked his ass off why not go see the audience result. And I actually think he still humble and sweet and ppl r always gonna have something to say about some1 as talented as he is. This movie definately put him on the map and he shud be extremly proud. Hope he goes to see his other movies so I can run into him n give him a kiss! Love u Gerard!
