Was one of the final choices for the role of Captain Sisko on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the role of Captain Janeway on _"Star Trek: Voyager" (1995) .
Along with Jeffrey Combs and Matt Winston, he is one of only three actors (besides the regulars) to appear in all four seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise.
