His 2011 has included arrests for domestic violence and drug possession (on a night that included a massive car wreck) so it's only fitting Gary Dourdan end the year with a foreclosure hanging over his head ... this according to documents obtained by TMZ.

According to docs filed back in September, Dourdan defaulted on his mortgage after he missed a payment due on July 1. The docs say Dourdan owes $61,558.90 as of September 28, 2011 .... on the Venice pad he bought back in 2004 for $922,000.

Calls to Dourdan's rep were not returned.

An angry judge just ripped Gary Dourdan a new one ... after learning the former "CSI" star illegally texted his former GF ... allegedly.

Dourdan pled not guilty to felony domestic violence charges for allegedly breaking Nicole Vail Cannizzaro's nose.

Immediately after Dourdan was arrested last month, the police got a restraining order which prohibited the actor from contacting his ex, but the D.A. claims Dourdan violated that order by texting her.

Judge Keith Schwartz told Dourdan, "I don't mess around with domestic violence cases ... You understand?"

The judge issued a 3 year restraining order and gave Dourdan an ultimatum -- stay the hell away from her, or he's going to jail ... NOW.

Gary Dourdan's ex-girlfriend has filed for a restraining order, claiming he punched her in the face and broke her nose. 

Nicole Vail Cannizzaro claims in the documents, obtained by TMZ, she had broken up with Dourdan in May "due to his excessive drug use, which only worsened after cutting off communication with him."

Nicole claims Gary put recording devices in her home and attempted to break in. She says Sunday night he punched her in the face and broke her nose.  Nicole says she ran to the back alley, where a neighbor called 911. Gary was arrested for felony battery but bailed out.

Nicole is asking that Gary stay 100 yards away from her and her 2 dogs, Charlie and Chanel.

A hearing for the restraining order is set for later this month. Nicole apparently got an emergency protective order from the cops, but it expires next week.

A call to Dourdan's rep was not immediately returned.

Gary Dourdan was arrested Sunday night for allegedly breaking his former girlfriend's nose  ..law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We're told a former girlfriend went to Dourdan's home in Venice, CA Sunday night.  Cops received a disturbance call at around 9 PM, arrived at the house but the woman had already left.  While the cops were there, someone called LAPD and said an injured woman was in a nearby alley -- it was Dourdan's ex.  Cop looked her over and it appeared she had a broken nose and she said Dourdan was the culprit.

The former "CSI" star was arrested and booked for felony battery.  He's being held on $50,000 bail.

"CSI" star Gary Dourdan no longer faces a drug possession charge after his arrest back in June ... when cops claim they found OxyContin pills -- aka "Hillbilly Heroin" -- on the actor.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, prosecutors dropped the charge for oxy possession earlier this week in light of new evidence -- but Gary's drug paraphernalia charge still stands.

As we previously reported, Gary got into a MASSIVE accident before he was arrested -- plowing his SUV into a parked truck.

Gary's due back in court next month for the paraphernalia charge.

The L.A. City Attorney tells TMZ ... Dourdan was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Initially, cops believed Dourdan was in possession of ecstasy during the incident ... but it appears the pills were later ID'd as oxycontin -- a prescription painkiller also known as "hillbilly heroin."

As for the vehicular destruction Dourdan allegedly caused that morning ... he won't face criminal charges for that ... it's the insurance company's problem.

If convicted on all charges, Gary faces up to a year in jail.

Cops had responded to the crash scene on June 13 ... after someone reported that Gary hit TWO parked cars around 3:30 AM. During the investigation, cops say they found ecstasy on Gary and arrested him for possession.

The owner of the truck says her car was towed away from the scene ... but it remains in an impound lot because she can't afford to pay the bill ... and claims Gary is ducking her insurance company.

Currently, Gary is not facing any criminal charges for the crash -- but we're told he's not off the hook .. because the D.A. could drop the hammer on the actor when they get the case.

We're told officers responded to an accident scene around 3:30 AM -- after someone reported that Gary crashed his vehicle into two parked cars.

During the investigation, cops found "a few pills" of ecstasy -- and arrested the actor on a drug possession charge.

Dourdan was taken to a nearby station -- where he was booked and bail was set at $10,000.

After spending several hours in custody, Dourdan was released just after 12:00 PM.

It's not the first time Dourdan has been arrested for drugs -- back in 2008, Gary pled guilty to possession of cocaine and ecstasy after an incident in Palm Springs.
