LOS ANGELES (AP) - "Desperate Housewives" actor Gale Harold is out of intensive care and improving daily at a Los Angeles hospital after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle accident.


"The Insider" can confirm the news that "Desperate Housewives" star Gale Harold is on the road to recovery. A rep for the actor, who plays Teri Hatcher's character's love interest on the ABC hit, tells "The Insider": "Gale Harold is out of intensive care and improving daily. A full recovery is expected. He thanks everyone for their good wishes." Harold was injured in a motorcycle accident last week.

Desperate Housewives actor Gale Harold's condition is "improving" after doctors rushed to stop swelling on his brain following his motorcycle accident on Tuesday.


Desperate Housewives actor Gale Harold is reportedly hospitalized in "critical but stable condition" following a motorcycle accident. He publicist initially only confirmed that the actor, who plays the boyfriend of Teri Hatcher's character, had fractured one of his shoulders.

It was Housewives creator Marc Cherry though, who confirmed later that Harold has swelling on the brain. Cherry stated that the actor is expected to recover fully after "a couple of weeks."

"The Insider" confirms that "Desperate Housewives" actor Gale Harold, who plays Teri Hatcher's love interest on the hit ABC show, was injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday. Harold's rep tells "The Insider" that he fractured his shoulder and is under observation, while a hospital spokesperson tells "The Insider" that the actor is currently "in critical but stable condition." No one else was injured in the accident. A rep for "Desperate Housewives" told "The Insider" Wednesday, "Gale is part of the 'Desperate Housewives' family and our thoughts and wishes are with him for a speedy recovery."
