TV actor Eric Mabius has become a dad for the second time with wife Ivy Sherman.


NEW YORK (AP) - Eric Mabius is cast as playboy editor Daniel Meade on ABC's ''Ugly Betty,'' but in real life, he's married to a former ninth-grade classmate. ''This sounds a little trite and unbelievable, but we had sex-ed class in ninth grade together,'' said the 37-year-old actor, who is married to interior designer Ivy Sherman.


Daniel Meade may not be able to survive well without his trusty sidekick Betty on the ABC hit comedy "Ugly Betty," but in real life the actor who plays him is doing just fine. Eric Mabius, who plays Daniel, recently announced that he and his wife are expecting their second child.

Mabius told the Associated Press that he and his wife Ivy Sherman are expecting a baby, but do not know yet if it is a boy or a girl.
