Eddie Murphy (46) and Tracey Edmonds (40) are splitting up, just two weeks after their New Year’s Day faux marriage on a private island near Bora Bora. The ceremony was not legally-binding. The only people who are allowed to be married there are natives, or visitors who have been on the island for at least 30 days, but the pair had said they would make things legit stateside. Eddie’s rep said: "After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further. While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”
