Melanie Brown, also known as Spice Girl Mel B, has filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to legally establish actor Eddie Murphy as the child of her three-month-old daughter. A DNA test in June confirmed that Murphy is the father of Angel Iris Murphy Brown, who was born in April. Now Brown is seeking to legally establish paternity. She also seeks sole custody of Angel Iris Murphy Brown and reasonable child support, according to her attorney Gloria Allred. Brown and Murphy dated last year and Brown has listed Murphy as the father on the child's birth certificate. Murphy has never publicly acknowledged paternity.
