Attended Stella Niagara Education Park Cadet school in Lewiston, NY. Son of Ed Begley. He used to appear on a US radio soap called 'Milford Haven' with fiance, Mara Purl. They had their future marriage vows blessed in the town of the same name in Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. Vows that were sadly never completed. He quit his job as the Los Angeles Environmental Commissioner when he realized that he was destroying trees by all the paper the commission was using. His home is solar powered and he primarily uses his bike and public transportation. Has appeared in both the animated series "Batman" (1992) and one of the live-action films--in his case, Batman Forever (1995). The only other persons to do this are Rene Auberjonois, John Glover, Senator Patrick Leahy, and Vincent Schiavelli. Attended Van Nuys High School in Van Nuys, CA. He keeps his father's Oscar at home and proudly displays it. Has a daughter named Hayden Carson (b. 2000) with wife Rachelle Carson.
