LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Drew Lachey has traded in his dancing shoes for a racing helmet. The second-season ''Dancing with the Stars'' champion and former member of the pop group 98 Degrees qualified Friday for the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, a 10-lap charity race that is part of 34th annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

The 98 Degrees singer, who was crowned the show's overall winner, has denied the rumors after Star magazine claimed the pair were in a relationship throughout their dancing jaunt in 2006.


It seems that 'Dancing With the Stars' has another sex scandal to deal with. Star Magazine has reported that Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke are having an affair.

Rumor is that Lachey and Burke have been hot and heavy while promoting the show on the 'Dancing With the Stars' tour that wrapped up last month. Problem is that Lachey is married.

Drew Lachey, who was paired with dancer Cheryl Burke in the spring of 2006, is denying tabloid rumors that he and Burke had an affair.
