The Osmond family has turned to one another as they strive to move forward following the suicide of Michael Blosil, Marie's son. Marie's brothers and nephew gathered in Utah on Monday night to support the release of David's new album, "Reflected." They also used this as an opportunity to reflect on the tragedy that has afflicted their tight-knit family. Donny Osmond said, "Whenever there's a situation where there needs to be rallying, the Osmonds rally around each other and support each other. And, there's a lot of that going on right now." Upon receiving the devastating news of Michael's death, the brothers immediately boarded Donny's plane to join their sister in Las Vegas. "It meant a lot to her to have us at her house," reported Donny. Marie's ex-husband and Michael's father, Brian Blosil, also attended the event to support David's emerging music career. "The Insider" has learned that Marie Osmond's son Michael Blosil leapt to his death Friday night in Los Angeles. Contacted by phone this morning, Donny Osmond told us: "Please pray for my sister and her family." Here are the details: Michael, who was 18 and is one of Marie's eight children, died after jumping from his downtown Los Angeles apartment at about 9 p.m. on Friday night. He left a note explaining he intended to commit suicide due to his life-long battle with severe depression that left him, he said, feeling as if he had no friends and could never fit in. "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time," Marie, who helped her son fight depression throughout his life, tells "The Insider." Donny and Marie's Las Vegas show has been cancelled tonight.

With a single already on the radio, Donny Osmond will be hitting the airwaves in a new way. Read on to find out what Donny will being be doing when you tune your dial… The reigning "Dancing with the Stars" champ will be hosting a daytime radio show, according to the Associated Press. About 60 stations will broadcast this music-based show when it launches on January 18. Donny told the AP that radio is not fizzling out at a means of entertainment. He said, "I've been in this business since dirt was created, so I've seen a lot of incarnations of this business… And so many people would say, 'Television is the death of radio,' and as history has shown, it isn't, it wasn't and it never will be." The multi-faceted entertainer is aiming to reach a vast demographic, but at the same time is focusing on adult females interested in the music genres of adult contemporary and classic hits. He hopes to keep people company during the workday, saying, "It really gives ownership to the listener, and that's what we're trying to do is get them through the workday with some great music and some fun stories, little anecdotes and a very positive outlook in the five hours I'll be programming."
