Worked with Richard Dean Anderson before the "Stargate SG-1" (1997) series; he was Dana Elcar's body double on "MacGyver" (1985) and played a role as a cement truck driver. Before his untimely death one month later, his final appearance was with Rick in Stargate: Continuum (2008) (V).

Was also a skilled artist and wood craftsman.

Had appeared in three different productions which featured a character named Dr. Weir: The 6th Day (2000), "Stargate SG-1" (1997) and "Stargate: Atlantis" (2004).

Had appeared in episodes of four different series with Bruce Harwood: "MacGyver" (1985), "The X Files" (1993), "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show" (1997) and "Stargate SG-1" (1997).

Had appeared with Steve Bacic in five different productions: She Stood Alone: The Tailhook Scandal (1995) (TV), "Stargate SG-1" (1997), The 6th Day (2000), "Andromeda" (2000), and Stargate: Continuum (2008) (V).

Although Peter Williams was the main recurring guest star on "Stargate SG-1" (1997) for four years, he and Davis only shared a scene in three episodes: "Children of the Gods", "Serpent's Song" and "Point of View".

In one year (1991), appeared in two different productions in which a game of chess was played where humans are used for game pieces and if captured, they would be killed: "Twin Peaks" (1990) and the "All the King's Horses" episode of "Monkey Planet" (2000).

His last appearance as "Gen. Hammond" was in Stargate: Continuum (2008) (V), which was released in the US a month after his death.
