Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have been arrested in west Texas after allegedly not paying a California hotel bill in excess of $10,000. The couple was taken into police custody on Thursday afternoon, according to the Presidio County Sheriff's Department. "We're told a struggle ensued with Evi Quaid, but she was quickly restrained," a spokesman for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department adds to ET. The Santa Barbara official says Quaid and his wife both face felony charges of burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy. Their bail is set at $20,000 each. Randy, the brother of actor Dennis Quaid, is known for his roles in films such as 'National Lampoon's Vacation,' 'Kingpin' and 'Independence Day.'

Bosses at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center have agreed to pay Dennis Quaid's twins $250,000 each as part of a settlement related to the babies' near-fatal blood thinner overdose controversy.


Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly have reached a settlement with the hospital where their twins were given an alleged accidental overdose of the blood-thinning drug heparin in 2007. Documents say the Quaids will receive $500,000 in their settlement with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, reports the Associated Press. A petition filed in May with the L.A. Superior Court indicates that the settlement will be split equally between twins Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone. Cedars-Sinai is also offering the twins medical care free of cost for any residual health problems related to the heparin-overdose incident. On November 18, 2007, the Quaid's then-newborns were given alleged accidental and potentially life-threatening overdoses of the blood thinner.

According to Access Hollywood, Dennis Quaid and Julianne Moore are set to join the cast of an upcoming film about former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, which HBO and Executive Producer Kathleen Kennedy are in discussions to make.

Quaid will star as former President Bill Clinton, and Moore will portray his wife, Hillary Clinton in The Special Relationship, the closing film of a political trilogy written by Peter Morgan and concerning former Prime Minister Blair.
