The country singer - who was married to dancer Dean Sheremet when she met Eddie, who was also married, on the set of TV movie 'Northern Lights' - wore a dress by Reem Acra and exchanged vows in a private home in the US state in front of 40 guests.
Dean Sheremet recently proposed to girlfriend Sarah Silver, and his ex-wife LeAnn Rimes had nothing but nice tweets to write after hearing the news. The country crooner wrote: "Congrats to @deansheremet and @sarah_silver on your engagement! A little birdie told me the happy news last night. Wishes for a life full of happiness." After receiving some criticism for her tweet, she wrote: "My congrats is from my heart. Sorry if you don't understand it. I do not need the publicity, I get plenty. please stop passing judgement." Earlier this month, LeAnn told ABC News' Robin Roberts that she fell in love with actor Eddie Cibrian when neither of their respective marriages were working. She said of the experience, in which she met Eddie on the set of a TV movie and they both ended up leaving their spouses and got together, "That's just not me. What happened is not who I am, period. But I do know how much I love him. So I've always said I don't live my life with regret. I can't."

"The Insider" has exclusively obtained LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet's divorce papers.   The papers, filed yesterday by Dean, cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Dean is asking for spousal support from LeAnn and asks that LeAnn pay for attorney fees. Dean and LeAnn have been married since February 23, 2002 and according to the divorce papers, the couple's date of separation is to be determined. In the papers, Dean spells his name as "Deane." LeAnn Rimes has announced that she and her husband Dean Sheremet are divorcing, following last week’s news that her rumored love interest Eddie Cibrian had filed for divorce from his wife. “After much thoughtful, mutual consideration, [Dean] and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support -- it is deeply appreciated,” Rimes announced on her Web site. Last month, Rimes and Cibrian were spotted together on the golf course.

Friends of LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet are speaking out on their reported split. Unnamed acquaintances tell People.com that the two "were pretty much inseparable." The couple was regularly seen out and about together at the gym, eating out with friends, getting their groove on at nightclubs -- and shopping for Rimes' wardrobe. Some credit Dean for transforming his wife from country girl to diva. "When she met Dean, the whole image of who LeAnn Rimes was completely morphed into 'fabulousity,'" a music industry friend tells the mag. The friend added that her hubby "saw the potential that was not being tapped ... Her wardrobe, hair and makeup changed almost over night from the time they started being together." Other sources say the split does not come as a surprise. "I don't think it's unusual considering how young they were [when they wed], and the business they're in," said one friend.

LeAnn Rimes talked about broken hearts and ending relationships at her Utah concert, following her alleged split from her husband of seven years, Dean Sheremet, according to a report. "You know, I think that you will all really be able to relate to this next song in your lives. You probably know it's inevitable that in a relationship, sometimes you will have your heart broken at some point," she told the audience at the Deer Valley Music Festival, People magazine reports. The publication reported on Friday that Rimes and Sheremet were no longer living together. "LeAnne and Dean have been separated for quite some time now, but they're continuing to try and work through their relationship," a source told People. Rimes told the Utah audience, "Sometimes, you might say that you can't do anything and sometimes, you want revenge. Sometimes, you say, 'You're not worth it.' But sometimes, you don't, and that's when you leave it in God's hands and know that he will take care of it." Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Rimes was romantically linked to her 'Northern Lights' costar Eddie Cibrian. US magazine reported last week that Cibrian and his wife had separated. "Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart," Brandi Glanville told the publication. "I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other."
