David Spade speaks out about the arrest of Heather Locklear saying, "I think things get blown out a lot of proportion."   Spade said he texted Locklear to check up on her after her arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, reports People magazine. "She's always solid and always a great person. And I think people understand she's in a tough situation and she does her best." Spade says when it comes to Locklear, "I think there's no one that doesn't feel for her or have nice things to say about her in my experience."

The infant was born in Missouri. "David and Jillian have been in close contact throughout her pregnancy and he plans to go see the baby during his first break in filming 'Rules of Engagement,'" Spade's rep told People. People reports that David and Jillian had a brief relationship.
