Daniel Radcliffe, the Harry Potter star joked that he could play the character of James Bond and put a revolutionary twist on the role.  After beating out Daniel Craig as the best  mail award at the first National Movie Awards, Radcliffe was asked whether he'd like to take over the role as 007 and he replied:

"It would be weird to suddenly be involved in another big franchise, but hey, it takes a big man to turn down Bond."

He even joked that his ideal leading lady would be Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies.  He said:

"I'm going to say Rupert. I'll be the first gay James Bond!"

But then he added:

"I don't think the world's ready for a short-a**e Bond."

Hey, I think it would be fantastic to see a Gay Bond, don't you?  Daniel Radcliffe would be perfect for the role.
