Dane Cook was a guest on "Larry King Live" Thursday night and the comedian spoke candidly about the legal situation involving his half brother and former manager Darryl McCauley. McCauley was arrested in December after being accused of embezzling millions of dollars from Cook while he served as his manager. "It's a terrible betrayal," Cook tells Larry King. "But hopefully justice will be served and I can move on with my life." According to the Massachusetts attorney general's office, McCauley is accused of transferring Cook's money into his own bank account. "I worked with my only half brother for several years," Cook says. "Woke up one day and a lot of stuff was missing. There is a good chunk of money that is certainly not accounted for. That's all I can say about it at this point.' McCauley plead not guilty to the charges against him and is currently in jail awaiting his trial.

The manager and half brother of funnyman and film star Dane Cook has been indicted by a Massachusetts grand jury for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from the actor. Citing Attorney General Martha Coakley’s office, the Associated Press reports that Darryl McCauley, 43, was charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, forgery and larceny by continuous scheme. According to prosecutors, McCauley was being paid $12,500 a month as Cook's employee at the time he allegedly stole from Cook, says the AP. McCauley is also accused of writing a $3 million check to himself by forging Cook's signature. McCauley's attorney Robert Goldstein tells the AP that his client denies stealing the money.

Dane Cook's manager and half-brother has been accused of embezzling millions of dollars from the funnyman and film star, and now he has been arraigned in a Massachusetts District Court in connection with the case. Darryl McCauley, 43, is being charged today with Larceny over $250 (2 counts), Forgery, and Larceny by Continuous Scheme. He pled not guilty and was ordered held on $3 million cash bail. McCauley, who was arrested Tuesday evening without incident, has been Cook's business manager since the early 1990s and was responsible for the comedian's financial affairs. He is accused of transferring millions of Cook's earnings into his own personal accounts for his personal use, and in one instance he is accused of forging a three million dollar check written from Cook's account to himself.
