Colin Farrell reportedly helped a homeless man out in Toronto by treating him to a shopping spree this week as well as giving him some cash to rent a place. As mentioned yesterday, Colin is at the Toronto Film Festival to promote his film directed by Woody Allen, Cassandra's Dream. Apparently while here, he ran into Stress, the homeless man, whom he became friends with while filming in town many years ago.  Colin took Stress to a downtown camping store and purchased a number of things for him, including new clothes, a backpack, and a sleeping bag according to the Toronto Sun.  He even went to an ATM machine to take out $830 to give to Stress to find a place to live.

It's nice to hear about a Hollywood actor doing something so generous like this eh?  Colin is back in my good book for this good deed.
