Of the five original Stargate SG-1 regulars, he is the only one who did not appear in the first season of the spin-off series Stargate: Atlantis. His character, Hector, was killed by Remiel, played by Michael Shanks, in the Andromeda episode "Day of Judgement, Day of Wrath". In the Stargate SG-1 episode "Moebius Part 2", his character, Teal'c, killed Shanks' character, Dr. Daniel Jackson.
