Turned down the role of Zed in Pulp Fiction (1994)

Visited James Dean's family in Indiana, while traveling to New York, and ended up staying with them a few days; they'd hit it off well.
Served six months in a military stockade on Governor's Island in New York, NY for going AWOL from the Army. After being discharged, he remained in New York City and fell in with the arts crowd, which lead to a love of painting and his career in acting.
