Bryan Adams has reportedly wrote to Kentucky Fried Chicken of Canada to stop torturing chickens.  Bryan, a longtime vegan, has joined forces with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and is urging KFC Canada to change their cruel practices.  Bryan's letter to CEO of KFC Canada, John Bitove said:

"I'm writing in the hope that you would be open to ways you could improve the lives and deaths of the birds who end up in KFC Canada's buckets."

WARNING, the next bit of information could make you lose your appetite...

Bryan described how the birds are scalded to death in tanks of hot water, and suggested what KFC can do to stop this abuse and other cruelties. He added:

"If you could dramatically improve the lives and deaths of the birds who end up in KFC Canada's buckets by adopting basic recommendations... then why not do it?"

That's disgusting eh?  I've heard that the chickens were poorly treated, but I didn't know they were scalded to death.  I hope KFC and other fast food chains will start making some changes.
