As a child, Bret defended his sister, Georgia's honor against a bully at school. After Bret won the fight, the other children hoisted him up on their shoulders. Vince McMahon heard of the incident, and decided after Bret won the WWF Title at Wrestlemania 10, to send out the other superstars to hoist him up on their shoulders. Needless to say, it reminded Bret of the incident as a child.
