Benji Madden, guitarist in Good Charlotte, popped the question to his girlfriend, Australian pop singer-turned-actor Sophia Monk, on Christmas Eve.

"The are incredibly happy," said Madden's rep, Steve Feinberg.  The couple was first spotted together in September, smoothing over lunch in Los Angeles.  Madden, 27, proposed to Monk, also 27, in her home country, presenting her with a Neil Lane designed diamond ring.  Monk, known for her roles in Click and Date Movie, just finished shooting the dark comedy Sex and Death 101 alongside Winona Ryder and Simon Baker.
