Born at 9:00am-EWT at Beth Moses Hospital, New York Graduated from Eastern District High School in 1961 As a child, he was raised in the Williamsburg part of Brooklyn, New York. Played piano for Bette Midler. Son of Edna Manilow and Harold Pincus. Wrote "Harmony", a play still traveling the nation in 2003 Still resides in New York City, but has a home in Los Angeles. Curently (2004) resides in Palm Springs Early in his career, he wrote advertising jingles for such clients as State Farm Insurance, McDonalds, Dr. Pepper soda and Stri-Dex anti-acne medicine. Won a Special Tony Award in 1977.
