Country star Sara Evans has obtained a restraining order against her ex-husband -- claiming he irreparably harmed their children by badmouthing her on Anderson Cooper's new TV show.

Craig Schelske appeared on "Anderson" back on September 20 -- claiming he lost custody of his kids because Sara falsely accused him of being a porn-obsessed adulterer.

Sara claims the interview not only violated a temporary injunction she obtained against Craig back in 2010 -- blocking him from bashing Sara in public -- it also "caused and will continue to cause irreparable harm to the children."

On September 21 -- a day after the interview aired -- Sara filed a request for a restraining order to block Craig from making further statements about their divorce proceedings. A judge signed the order the same day.

A source close to Craig tells us, "This is a violation of his First Amendment rights, and he won't take it lying down."

After purchasing this 1906 Fire House for $4.3 million in 2010 (right), Cooper spent the year having it renovated to its original facade (left).

Filed under: Celebrity Justice, Repo Games A bullet ripped a MASSIVE hole through the side of the "Repo Games" van when a crazed gunman opened fire on the reality show crew back in April ... and now TMZ has footage of the frightening incident.




Terrified crew members can be seen running for their lives ... when 40-year-old Carlos Barron emerged from his Las Vegas home with a pistol on April 25 and began shooting ... all because he felt the production was too close to his house.

Barron can be heard threatening production members ...saying, "I'll blow your ass away man ... I will kill your ass."

As the cameras rolled, one crew member instructs a cameraman, "Tape motherf**ker ... this is real, real sh*t ... that's what Anderson Cooper does, b*tch."




Afterward, "Repo Games" star Josh Lewis admitted, "I thought I was gonna go Steven Segal for a hot minute and start throwing rocks ... [but then I] heard the second gun shot and I was like, 'F*ck that!'"




Cops quickly rolled to the scene and sent a K-9 unit after the suspect. Barron was eventually arrested and booked for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and obstructing a police officer.

After being attacked in Egypt last week, journalist Anderson Cooper has decided to leave the embattled country. Cooper tweeted on Saturday, writing: "It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to leave #Egypt. CNN continues to have many teams in place. It was a hard decision to leave." On Wednesday, the "Anderson Cooper 360" anchor reported that "the crowd set upon us" and that he and his crew were "kicked and punched pretty well … before the mob forced us to seek safety." He added that the crowd was "very violent," with "people looking for a fight." Cooper later tweeted that day: "Got roughed up by thugs in pro-mubarak crowd..punched and kicked repeatedly. Had to escape. Safe now." The journalist was not seriously injured. The new wave of violence comes in the wake of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak calling for calm and announcing that he would not run for re-election in the September vote. Pro-Mubarak demonstrators are now facing off against anti-government protesters, with the army reportedly failing to step in to stop the violence.
