Angelina Jolie opens up about her family life and reveals whether she wants more children! Asked by Anderson Cooper on his nightly "360" program if she and Brad Pitt plan on expanding their brood, Angelina replied, "Always. We love children," adding, "we want a big family. So we never – you know, never say no." The mother of six also dished on how she handles so many birthdays per year, laughing, 'we have so many kids that we just have year-round birthdays." She added, "It's a lot of fun now 'cause the older kids are old enough to help plan the birthdays for the younger kids. So it's-- it's just-- it's one of the great pleasures of life, the birthdays." Angelina, who serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), also spoke out about the plight refugees around the world face. “This-- this fight is a very personal fight for all of us,” she said, continuing, “I think at least what we can be doing is -- is assisting the humanitarian crisis and assisting the people and the desperate families and the children. And I think all countries have a responsibility to do that.” On Thursday, Angelina attended and spoke at the World Refugee Day commemoration in Washington, D.C., while on Wednesday, the Jolie-Pitt foundation donated $1 million to aid refugees.

Some of Hollywood's biggest stars joined CNN's Anderson Cooper for a tribute to ordinary Americans making extraordinary contributions in their communities and beyond.     Among those performing at the event, held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre, were Grammy-winning artists Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and John Legend. Award presenters included Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Cameron Diaz, Salma Hayek, Terrence Howard, Selena Gomez, Hugh Jackman, John Krasinski, Lucy Liu, Meg Ryan and Forest Whitaker.   The ceremony, airing on CNN on Thanksgiving Day at 9 p.m., paid tribute to the cable news channel's 10 CNN Heroes of 2008.

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama took to the airwaves Monday night for an exclusive interview on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" -- weighing in on Hurricane Gustav relief efforts.   Fresh off of his historic nomination at last week's Democratic National Convention, Obama told Anderson Cooper he is satisfied with the handling of relief efforts for Hurricane Gustav, which hit landfall on the Gulf Coast Monday. "We have seen the evacuation of two million people, with relatively few glitches," Sen. Obama said. "So, I'm pleased, so far, in terms of response." He also went on to say the reason he has not yet visited the storm-ravaged area is because doing so would require extensive coordination with law enforcement officials and would "draw away resources" that are needed to assist in the relief effort. "So what I didn't want to be was just a distraction for a photo-op," he said, adding that he would go to the area "in a hot second" if it were beneficial to helping those in need.  Obama said part of the reason for the smooth response to the hurricane included a bipartisan bill he helped pass in Congress to aid evacuees in locating family members, adding that if elected, he will focus on immediate emergency response, wetland restoration and rebuilding destroyed homes and businesses.       Courtesy:  Jennifer Mitchell/ Splash News

NEW YORK (AP) - CNN's Anderson Cooper was back at work Wednesday after minor surgery two days earlier to remove a cancerous mole from underneath his left eye. There was no indication the skin cancer had spread, spokeswoman Shimrit Sheetrit said.


Dubbed television's smartest reality show, ABC is bringing back "The Mole," featuring new "whodunit" game elements, interactivity and a new host. The original series was hosted by Anderson Cooper.
