Writer Alan Parker has been recruited to make a new movie about notorious late Sex Pistols star Sid Vicious. The 42-year-old has written three books on the life of the punk legend - real name John Simon Ritchie - and has now been approached by Ipso Facto films to direct a docu-drama about the bassist.
