The eclectic cast of the new action film 'Battle: Los Angeles' may have gone through some minor clashes even after the cameras stopped rolling. Ne-Yo revealed that acting with Aaron Eckhart in the movie was strange for him initially being that Eckhart was the first method actor that he's ever worked with. "I didn't understand the concept of staying in character the whole time," said the R&B crooner. "We almost got in a little tussle just behind me not understanding that he's still in character." Ne-Yo went on to disclose a specific instance that triggered some frustration for him on set, saying, "[Eckhart] plays a tough guy in the film, so it was lunch and I go, 'Hey, Aaron.' And he goes, 'Leave me alone.'" Ne-Yo later praised his co-star, saying, "He's a fantastic actor. I learned a lot just by watching him." In 'Battle: Los Angeles' the City of Angeles becomes the world's last surviving major city in a war against an extraterrestrial enemy that has been preparing for a battle against mankind for decades. Eckhart's tough-guy role might not have been entirely fake. The actor reported that he suffered a broken arm during filming, but had to continue shooting. "It's in the film so it was worthwhile," said Eckhart, who has since recovered from the injury. "[Eckhart is] such a pro and was so focused I think a lot of people started to think he was actually in the Marines," said Bridget Moynahan. All the actors involved in the film keep themselves in good shape but the boot camp they had to go through for the movie still proved challenging. "It was the most physically trying thing I've ever done in life," said Ne-Yo. "It was definitely worth it because I had a lot of fun." "The hardest part was running without a reason," said Michelle Rodriguez, who called the training "gnarly." 'Battle: Los Angeles' hits theaters March 11.
