The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat's book Five Point Someone. On Wednesday night, Kareena and Aamir were shooting in CP. The radial road from Janpath to Inner Circle was blocked for traffic, and the shooting started at about 8 pm, going on till 6 am, the next morning. Rajkumar Hirani's multistarrer project '3 Idiots' is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel 'Five Point Someone' and stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Mona Singh and Boman Irani.
