50 Cent is reportedly on the verge of signing a new branding deal with Rupert Murdoch's company which is said to be worth $300 million. Fiddy is in final negotiations with Murdoch's News Corp firm for a large stake in all aspects of the 50 Cent brand which includes: music, concerts, books and his label G-Unit Records.

50% of the deal is reported to be in stock which could in turn make Curtis Jackson (real name) one of the biggest shareholders.

Wow! That's quite a bit of cash.  I wonder what's so appealing about him to make him worth that much money!
